The TTSPORT Evolution EB4 is a front 4-piston big brake kit designed for drivers seeking a more powerful and controllable braking system for street and mountain driving, without the bulk and overkill of dedicated track-only systems. Featuring forged calipers, large two-piece rotors, matched brake pads, and braided brake lines, the EB4 delivers consistent stopping power, repeatable pedal feel, and superior heat dissipation.
As the entry-level front brake upgrade in the Evolution series, the EB4 targets street and mountain driving scenarios. It is designed for users who want to enhance braking quality without needing heavy-duty racing specifications, striking an ideal balance between performance, ease of installation, and daily durability.
The EB4 utilizes a two-piece forged aluminum alloy opposed 4-piston caliper, precision-machined via CNC. The forging process optimizes the alloy's grain structure, offering significantly better resistance to deformation under high-pressure braking compared to OEM cast calipers. Key specifications include:
Piston Layout: Staggered diameter design; each side features two pistons measuring 40mm and 44mm, totaling four opposed pistons. The total piston area per caliper is 55.5 cm². The staggered bore sizes balance the force applied to the leading and trailing edges of the brake pad, mitigating uneven (tapered) wear over time and ensuring more linear braking output.
Piston Structure: Two-piece heat-insulating pistons equipped with dust boots. This design reduces heat transfer to the brake fluid—preventing pedal feel degradation at high temperatures—while also providing protection against dust and corrosion for daily commuting, thereby extending maintenance intervals.
Physical Specifications: Caliper dimensions are 289mm (L) x 151mm (W) x 83mm (H); net weight is 3.8kg per caliper (excluding pads); finished with a high-temperature gloss coating. Mounting Method: Radial mounting configuration, paired with vehicle-specific CNC carbon steel brackets designed to match the steering knuckle specifications of various vehicle models.
Aesthetics: Available in seven standard caliper colors—red, fluorescent green, orange, black, silver, yellow, and blue—with options for personalized custom colors.
Brake Disc Specifications
The entire lineup comes standard with 32mm-thick, two-piece internally ventilated brake discs. Two diameter options are available, along with a choice of two material types: high-carbon steel or carbon-ceramic.

The discs feature CNC-machined, high-strength aluminum alloy hats (bells) designed to mitigate disc deformation caused by thermal expansion and contraction, thereby reducing the risk of braking vibration.
Brake Pad Parameters
Specific brake pad compounds are matched to the corresponding disc types; official specifications are as follows:
Pads for Steel Discs: Operating temperature range of 0–600°C; average friction coefficient (μ) ≈ 0.38. Suitable for daily street driving and light spirited driving; designed to minimize excessive disc wear.
Pads for Carbon-Ceramic Discs: Operating temperature range of 0–700°C; average friction coefficient (μ) ≈ 0.45. Formulated specifically for carbon-ceramic discs, offering superior braking force stability at high temperatures.
Official Requirement: Brake pad and disc materials must be compatible; using pads designed for steel discs on carbon-ceramic discs (or vice versa) is strictly prohibited.
Key Supporting Components
Braided Stainless Steel Brake Lines: Feature a three-layer design—an inner PTFE layer, a middle SUS304 stainless steel braided layer, and an outer PVC protective sheath. This construction significantly minimizes hose expansion under high pressure, resulting in a firmer brake pedal feel and more direct braking force transmission. Fittings are vehicle-specific, designed to interface correctly with both the caliper and the chassis connection points.
Installation Hardware: Caliper mounting brackets are CNC-machined from high-carbon steel, and disc hats are made of high-strength aluminum alloy; both are custom-manufactured based on specific vehicle data. A complete set of mounting fasteners is included as standard.
Standard Kit Contents
The complete front-wheel vehicle-specific kit includes:
2 x EB4 forged 4-piston front calipers
2 x Two-piece brake discs (in selected specifications)
1 x Set of matching brake pads
2 x Sets of vehicle-specific caliper mounting brackets
2 x Aluminum alloy disc hats
2 x Stainless steel braided brake lines
Complete set of mounting hardware and brake pad bedding-in instructions
Wheel size: Minimum 18-inch wheels required; 355mm discs are the baseline for 18-inch wheels, while 380mm discs require additional verification of internal wheel clearance.
Internal clearance: Minimum clearance of 99mm is required between the inner wheel spokes and the caliper; wheel barrel depth and spoke design also affect compatibility—we recommend verifying fitment using a dedicated clearance template before ordering.
Fitment method: This is a platform-based custom kit; vehicle-specific brackets, hats, and brake line fittings are used to match different vehicle models. Please provide complete vehicle details (model year, trim/configuration, and wheel specifications) when ordering for compatibility verification.
Mandatory bedding-in: A proper brake pad bedding-in procedure must be performed before aggressive driving to establish a uniform friction material transfer layer on the disc surface; skipping this step can lead to issues such as brake judder, uneven braking force, and abnormal disc wear.
What vehicle models is the EB4 brake kit suitable for?
The EB4 is a large-size brake kit designed for platform-based fitment; its caliper brackets, disc hats, and brake line fittings are customized for specific vehicle models. We recommend using 18-inch or larger wheels with a minimum spoke clearance of 99mm. The shape of the inner wheel barrel and spoke profile are also critical factors—please use a clearance template to verify fitment before installation.
If you are unsure about compatibility, please contact us with your vehicle's year, make, model, trim level, and wheel specifications so we can verify fitment before you place your order.
Should you choose 355mm or 380mm brake discs?
Compared to most factory-standard front discs, 355mm discs offer lower rotational inertia and a significant performance boost. 380mm discs provide greater heat capacity and torque, making them suitable for heavier vehicles or high-intensity driving—provided there is sufficient wheel clearance.
Should you choose iron or carbon-ceramic brake discs?
For most street and spirited driving, heat-treated, high-carbon cast iron discs are the ideal choice. While carbon-ceramic discs reduce unsprung mass and improve heat dissipation, they come at a higher cost and require specific carbon-ceramic-compatible brake pads.
Are braided lines and brackets included?
Yes. Each kit comes with stainless steel braided brake lines, CNC-machined aluminum rotor hats, and CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets tailored to your vehicle.
