The TTSPORT Mono EMB6 front 6-piston big brake kit belongs to the TTSPORT Mono (monoblock forged) series and represents a high-end performance model within the Evolution product line. Its core feature is a monoblock caliper structure forged from a single solid aluminum billet. Compared to traditional two-piece bolted calipers, it offers superior rigidity and minimal deformation under high pressure. It is engineered to deliver an exceptionally firm pedal feel, precise braking linearity, and lightweight performance. Positioned above the two-piece Evolution series (which shares the same piston count), it is suitable for both spirited street driving and track day (HPDE) use.
The TTSPORT Mono EMB6 is a front-axle big brake kit centered around a forged aluminum monoblock caliper. It features six staggered-bore pistons, two-piece ventilated rotors (up to Ø405 mm), and matching brake pads and lines. It is designed for drivers who demand a firmer pedal feel, higher thermal capacity, and consistent, repeatable braking performance lap after lap.
The EMB6 utilizes an opposed 6-piston monoblock forged aluminum caliper. The caliper body is forged from a single aluminum billet and precision-machined via CNC; lacking the bolted seams found in two-piece designs, it offers significantly better resistance to flex and deformation under high braking pressure. This ensures lossless transmission of braking force and provides direct, precise, and linear pedal feedback.
Piston Layout: Features a staggered bore design with three pistons per side—diameters of 30mm, 34mm, and 38mm—totaling six opposed pistons. The total piston area per caliper is 55.0 cm². This staggered bore configuration balances pressure distribution across the entire brake pad surface, mitigating uneven (tapered) wear over time and ensuring progressive, controllable braking force output. Piston Structure: Features a two-piece heat-insulating piston design with standard dust seals. This configuration slows the transfer of braking heat to the brake fluid, preventing pedal feel degradation during sustained braking, while also protecting against dust and road salt corrosion to extend the maintenance interval for oil seals and pistons.
Physical Specifications: The caliper measures 382mm (L) x 160mm (W) x 92mm (H) and has a net weight of just 3.25kg per unit (excluding brake pads), offering outstanding lightweight performance among large six-piston calipers in its class.
Surface Finish: Standard nickel plating provides a metallic, race-inspired aesthetic with superior high-temperature and corrosion resistance compared to standard painted finishes; multi-color customization is available through authorized domestic channels.
Mounting Method: Radial mounting design paired with vehicle-specific, CNC-machined high-carbon steel brackets, engineered to match the specific steering knuckle specifications of various vehicle models.
Brake Disc Specifications
The entire lineup comes standard with two-piece internally ventilated brake discs, offering three combinations of diameter and thickness, and supporting two material options: heat-treated high-carbon cast iron and carbon-ceramic (CCB).

The discs feature CNC-machined high-strength aluminum alloy hats (bells) designed to absorb disc deformation caused by thermal expansion and contraction, thereby reducing the risk of vibration during high-speed braking.
Brake Pad Parameters
Specific brake pad compounds are matched to the corresponding disc types; official specifications are as follows:
Brake pads for steel discs: Operating temperature range of 0–600°C; average friction coefficient (μ) of 0.38. They offer stable braking performance, minimize excessive disc wear, and are suitable for daily driving and light track use.
Brake pads for carbon-ceramic discs: Operating temperature range of 0–700°C; average friction coefficient (μ) of 0.45. Formulated specifically for carbon-ceramic surfaces, they deliver superior braking force and fade resistance at high temperatures.
Note: Brake pad and disc materials must be matched correctly; mixing incompatible materials is strictly prohibited.
Core Components
Braided Stainless Steel Brake Lines: Feature a three-layer design—an inner PTFE core, a middle SUS304 stainless steel braided layer, and an outer PVC protective sheath. This design virtually eliminates hose expansion under high pressure, resulting in a firmer, more responsive brake pedal feel. Fittings are vehicle-specific, designed to interface correctly with both the caliper and chassis connections.
Installation Hardware: Caliper mounting brackets are CNC-machined from high-carbon steel, and brake disc hats are made from high-strength aluminum alloy; both are custom-manufactured based on specific vehicle data. A complete set of installation fasteners is included as standard.

Wheel Size Requirements: Minimum 18-inch wheels required. 355mm discs fit 18-inch wheels; 380mm discs require 19-inch or larger wheels; 405mm discs require 20-inch or larger wheels.
Wheel Clearance Requirements: A minimum clearance of 101mm is required between the caliper and the inner face of the wheel spokes. Actual compatibility is influenced by wheel offset (ET value), spoke design, and barrel depth; the manufacturer recommends providing wheel specifications for clearance verification before ordering.
Fitment Method: This is a platform-based custom kit that utilizes vehicle-specific brackets, hats, and line fittings to suit various models. Complete vehicle details—including model year, trim level, and wheel specifications—must be provided when ordering to confirm fitment. It is compatible with mainstream mid-size performance cars, large sedans, and SUVs that meet the necessary spatial requirements.
Mandatory Bedding-In: Before aggressive driving, a proper brake pad bedding-in procedure must be performed to establish a uniform transfer layer of friction material on the rotor surface. Skipping this step can lead to issues such as brake judder, uneven braking force, and abnormal rotor wear.
The EMB6 is the flagship 6-piston model in TTSPORT’s street performance lineup. Its core advantages lie in the high rigidity and lightweight nature provided by its monoblock forged construction. It offers superior pedal firmness, braking precision, and stability during repeated braking compared to two-piece calipers with the same number of pistons. It is ideal for users who seek an elevated braking feel and frequently engage in track days or spirited driving on mountain roads.
Is the EMB6 suitable for your vehicle?
The EMB6 is a large-format brake kit designed for specific platforms. It utilizes dedicated mounting brackets and brake line fittings; therefore, you must verify compatibility with your vehicle's specific year, make, and model before ordering. Please contact us with your vehicle details to confirm.
What wheel size is required for the EMB6?
The EMB6 requires a minimum wheel size of 18 inches, with at least 101 mm of clearance between the rotor face and the inner spokes. If opting for larger rotors (380 mm or 405 mm), 19-inch or 20-inch wheels are typically required, depending on spoke design and inner barrel clearance.
Steel rotors or carbon-ceramic rotors?
High-carbon steel rotors offer strong initial bite and benefit from readily available, cost-effective brake pads. Carbon-ceramic rotors operate at lower temperatures, are lighter, and offer superior resistance to heat fade during sustained high-temperature use; however, they require specific carbon-ceramic compatible pads and come at a higher price point.
Why choose a monoblock caliper? The monoblock caliper body is forged from a single piece of aluminum alloy and precision-machined; compared to bolted two-piece designs, it offers superior resistance to deformation under high hydraulic pressure, resulting in a firmer pedal feel and more uniform, stable clamping force on the brake pads.
Does the kit include brake fluid?
No, it does not. We recommend using high-temperature DOT 4 or racing-grade brake fluid and performing a thorough system bleed after installation. Stainless steel braided brake lines are included in the kit.
Can the EMB6 be used as a rear brake kit?
The EMB6 is a front-axle brake kit. To achieve balanced braking performance, we recommend pairing it with a TTSPORT oversized rear brake kit that matches your vehicle's brake bias specifications.
